A Memorable Visit to Sr Citizens Home at Sector 15, CHD.

Rtn Dr. Makkar, Rtn Dr. V.D.Singh, Rtn Dr. Kochhar, R,Anne Mrs. Kochar, Rtn Shiv and Col Pervinder visited Senior citizen home sector 15Chd along with some law students to interact with them.
Aim was to know them and get acquainted with their wishes and dreams so that efforts can be made by RCS family to fulfil them as happiness comes only when you share and care for each other. All enjoyed samosas and lassi while “know each other session” was going on .
We have planned to visit Sr Citizen home every third Saturday of the month
Law students were made aware of how important it is to know our elders and look after them.
All the members are requested to take some time out and join in big numbers in community service projects.

NUKKAD NAATAK performed by Interactors of St Stephen School at Burail. It was a fantastic performance which could cut through the audience and delivered the message to keep the surroundings clean.
- Rtn Manjit , supported by R,Anne Col Pervinder coordinated the whole show.
- After the performance the interacts distributed cotton bags ( made at Skill development centre , Baltana ) , the garbage bags and plant saplings to the audience and the nearby shopkeepers .
- Rtn Brig Dhillon , President Dr S S Makkar participated in the event.

GOVIND MIGLANI TAKES CHARGE AS PRESIDENT, MANINDER NANDA AS VP, DR. SURINDER MAKKAR AS SECRETARY

Outgoing President Rtn. Sham Rawal collared incoming President Rtn. Govind Miglani on 5th July2022 in Chandigarh.
Rtn. Rawal, IPP, thanked RCS team 2021-22 for all the cooperation and hard work which each member had put in during 2021-22.
New incoming President Rtn. Govind Miglani shared his vision for Rotary Chandigarh Shivalik projects of adopting a village for all round development, Muskan - Cleft Lip Removal project, setting up of a Medical Equipment bank to be accessed by the people in need , and the signature 8th Rotary Dinner in The Dark Project to take RCS to greater heights.
Dinner in the Dark was adjudged as the best project for 2021-22.
Meeting ended with announcement of the club chairs, with vote of thanks by Rtn. Brig DS Dhillon (Club Trainer and PP) and AG Rtn. AP Dhiman.
