On 30.11.2021, as a part of International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, We conducted awareness class for women in the coastal area of Kozhikode on the topics Domestic Violence Act 2005, Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, POSH Act 2013 and also the Functions and Services of Sakhi One Stop Center. The class was presented by Case Worker of Sakhi One Stop center. About 35 women participated in the program.

On 29.11.2021, Sakhi One Stop Center and Women Protection office in collaboration with Women & Child Development Department, conducted an awareness program for Trade union Members & Anganwadi workers on the topics of Domestic Violence Act 2005, Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, POSH Act 2013 and also the Functions and Services of Sakhi One Stop Center. The class was presented by Adv. Zeenath, Legal Counselor, Kerala Soaps Industries Federation. 100 people participated in the program.

On 23.11.2021, International day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, We conducted awareness class for women in the coastal area of Kozhikode. Case worker of Sakhi One Stop center took class on the topics Domestic Violence Act 2005, Dowry Prohibition Act 1961, POSH Act 2013 and also the Functions and Services of Sakhi One Stop Center. On 18.02.2022, an online awareness class was conducted for ICDS workers and helpers of Perambra Gramapanchayath. Mrs. Sefeeda, Case worker introduced “Sakhi” One Stop Center, its functions and services. During the second session Adv. Swathi Suresh delivered a class about “Woman Protection Laws”. She also explained different sections of the laws. About 30 people participated in this online awareness class.

Mrs. Sruthi, Case worker introduced “Sakhi” One Stop Center, its functions and services. Miss. Sobhika P, case worker of “Sakhi” One Stop Center, spoke about the topic ‘Women & Law’. She also discussed about the laws related to women and its importance. 40 people were participated.

On 12.02.2022, team OSC organized an awareness program for the residents of After Care Home, Vellimadukkunnu, Kozhikode. Miss. Sobhika P, Case worker introduced the functioning of “SAKHI” One Stop Center. She also explained the services, structure and staff pattern of the center. Mrs. Athira T K, Psycho-Social Counsellor conducted an awareness program on “Mental Health, Personal Hygiene and Impacts of Social Media among Adolescent girls” She discussed the characteristics of adolescent period and its physical, psychological, social, sexual and intellectual changes. She explained adolescent issues and the influence of social media and its merits-hazards. 24 residents participated in this awareness class.
