Nikshay Divas was celebrated with the theme “TB FREE WORK PLACES” for the month of May on 24-05-2021 at Construction site General Hospital , Bomdila, to generate mass awareness on TB. under “TB. Harega Desh Jeetega” Campaign to End TB. by 2025. Screening for TB was done to all the workers of the construction site and also BP & RBS was checked. DTO imparted speech on TB. & its Sign & Symptoms, tools for early diagnosis, right drug regimen, treatment adherence and Nikshay Poshan Yojana to workers.

Nikshay Divas was celebrated under the banner of Jan Andolan “ TB Harega Desh Jeetega” on 29-04-2021 at 9 Health & Wellness Centre’s of West Kameng District to generate mass awareness on TB. The celebration was attended by GBs, PRI members, school students ,Teachers, ASHA’s , Anganwadi’s & Villagers. The celebration was cheered by Health & Wellnes Officers on TB. & its Sign & Symptoms, tools for early diagnosis, right drug regimen, services, infection control, treatment adherence and Nikshay Poshan Yojana

World TB. Day was celebrated with the theme “The Clock is Ticking” alongwith the Nation on 24-03-2021 at Health & Wellness Centre Morshing, Jigaon and Bishum Phudung under Sub-Centre Sangti to generate mass awareness on TB. under “TB. Harega Desh Jeetega” Campaign to End TB. by 2025. The celebration was attended by GBs, PRI members, School students, Teachers, Health Care Workers and public of Morshing, Domkho and Sanglem village. The celebration was marked by released of “Handbook on Tuberculosis for Elected representatives” by the Chief Guest Mr. Tashi Norbu, GB, Domkho village alongwith distribution of T-shirts, Mask and Handkerchiefs to PRI members, students and villagers. The highlight of the celebration was brief speech by Two TB. Champions sharing their personal experiences on TB. treatment and success. Interaction sessions with the villagers related to TB. was also held after DTO’s deliveration on TB. & its Sign & Symptoms, tools for early diagnosis, right drug regimen, treatment adherence and Nikshay Poshan Yojana.
The World TB. Day was also celebrated at Health and Wellness Centre Jigaon and Bishum Phudung under Sangti Sub-Centre involving the students to create mass awareness on TB.
