🌟 Historic Milestone in Inter-State Boundary Demarcation 🌟
In a significant and historic development, the first inter-state boundary pillar between Pake Kessang District, Arunachal Pradesh and Biswanath District, Assam was successfully erected this morning at 9:30 AM at Sijusa point, marking a new chapter in cooperative boundary management between the two states.
The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Health Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) of both districts, the Superintendent of Police (SSP) Biswanath, Divisional Forest Officers (Territorial & Wildlife) of both districts, and survey officials from Survey of India, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh.
The er****on of the first boundary pillar follows the successful demarcation of approximately 80% of the inter-state boundary length between the two districts. The demarcation and survey process was undertaken in accordance with the decisions taken during the Inter-State Regional Committee meeting.
This achievement reflects the spirit of cooperation, coordination, and mutual understanding between the two states, paving the way for peaceful and structured boundary administration. 🤝
