Anand Vihar School has the pride of the oldest schools of Bhopal incepted in 1963.

Now it is entering in the era of CBSE w.e.f. 1st April 2007 (Affiliation no. 1030276). Vanita Samaj is the parent body of the school. It was founded by late Dr.(Mrs) V. Karanjgaonkar and late Mrs.Kamla Nerukar in March 1960. The school was started in September , 1963 with 10 children and one teacher in a rented room.In 1966, Late Shri D.G. Karanjgaonkar, the then Chief Architect of Madhya Pradesh

helped the Samaj to get the present land from the government for constructing the school building. Anand Vihar School, Bhopal from Nursery to Class-XII Science & Commerce streams is an English medium Co-educational institution. Objective of school is to prepare students to face the emerging challenges in the global, scholastic & nonscholastic field of education. Inculcation of moral values , team sprit, dedication & personality development are the main features. The school has been provided with all facilities needed for attaining excellence in various fields.
