Today the members of Icche Dana went to Karode, a village near the Narmada river to survey the needs and necessities of the people residing there. We interacted with the villagers and created awareness of sanitary health among the women and also provided sanitary napkins to them. This visit was also beneficial for the members of Icche Dana as we returned with the mantra of living a simple life and lots of energy to further serve the underprivileged.

Imagine a day when your house help does not come to your house. You begin to feel helpless and start panicking about how the household chores will be completed. We usually do not give much value to them in our society but our daily life becomes extremely difficult if they are not present. To celebrate this important lifeline of our society the members of Icche Dana, on the occasion of International Women's Day, went to R K County society today and spent some time with the house helps of the society and guided them on the importance of sanitation. We also gave them vegetable puff, cake, frooti, sanitary napkins as well as gifts for their important contribution to our society.
