NGO Charcha – Bhadrak
NGO Charcha was successfully organised by the National Foundation for India (NFI) in partnership with DISHA. Grassroots NGOs and CVOs from Bhadrak district and nearby districts actively participated and shared their experiences, challenges, and field realities.
A special highlight was NFI’s Frontline Insurance Program — a thoughtful initiative to support dedicated grassroots workers. NGOs with an annual turnover below ₹25 lakhs can avail insurance coverage of up to ₹3 lakhs for individuals working tirelessly for their communities.

In the memory of their late mother, Champa Bahen, her daughters and son visited the place where they were born. They became deeply emotional on seeing the building filled with so many memories—the same wooden roof, the same well, the same tube well, and rooms of the same size. Remembering their parents’ love and sacrifices, they distributed ration and blankets to the needy.
