A meeting with representatives of all recognized political parties was held under the chairmanship of the District Election Officer (DM & Collector), South Tripura in connection with the forthcoming General Election to TTAADC 2026. The meeting focused on ensuring smooth, transparent and peaceful conduct of the election, with participation from district administration and police officials.

Today, the ADM & Collector (PP), along with other district officials, conducted a detailed inspection of the District Level EVM & VVPAT Warehouse, with special focus on the ongoing construction of the approach road.

During the visit, the team thoroughly examined the quality of materials, workmanship, drainage arrangements, road alignment, and overall progress of the work. The ADM & Collector (PP) stressed the importance of maintaining prescribed technical standards and ensuring timely completion of the project, considering the sensitivity and security requirements of the EVM & VVPAT warehouse.

Necessary instructions were issued to the concerned executing agency to ensure durability, proper finishing, and strict adherence to quality norms.
