অবৈধ বালি পরিবহনের বিরুদ্ধে যৌথ অভিযান

আজ, ০২.০৬.২০২৬ তারিখে মাটিয়া থানার অধিক্ষেত্রে বসিরহাট ব্লক-II-এর ব্লক ভূমি ও ভূমি সংস্কার আধিকারিক (BL&LRO)-এর টিমের সঙ্গে সমন্বয়ে একটি যৌথ অভিযান পরিচালিত হয়।

অভিযান চলাকালীন সাদা বালি বোঝাই তিনটি ট্র্যাক্টর আটক করা হয় এবং ঘটনায় জড়িত তিনজন ব্যক্তিকে পরবর্তী আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের উদ্দেশ্যে আটক করা হয়েছে।

ঘটনার তদন্ত প্রক্রিয়াধীন রয়েছে।

Joint Enforcement Action Against Illegal Transportation

Today on 02.06.2026 a joint raid was conducted under the jurisdiction of Matia Police Station in coordination with the team of the BL&LRO, Basirhat Block-II.
Three tractors loaded with white sand were intercepted and involved three persons were apprehended for further legal action.
Investigation is proceeding.

Sandeshkhali, 30 May 2026: In a significant breakthrough, Basirhat Police District arrested two persons ,Bikas@ Bhola Mondal and Debojoyti Sanyal .

Based on interrogation of the accused, a targeted raid was conducted which led to the seizure of one country-made improvised firearm and two rounds of ammunition from the possession of the said Bikas Mondal.

পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী শ্রী শুভেন্দু অধিকারী আজ কলকাতার সল্টলেকের বিধাননগর মহকুমা হাসপাতাল থেকে ‘এইচপিভি টিকাকরণ কর্মসূচি’ (HPV Vaccination Programme)-র উদ্বোধন করে জরায়ুমুখের ক্যান্সার (cervical cancer) প্রতিরোধ এবং নারী স্বাস্থ্যের সুরক্ষায় এক ঐতিহাসিক পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করলেন। একই সাথে তিনি কলকাতার এসএসকেএম (SSKM) হাসপাতালে একটি নতুন ১০০ শয্যার ওয়ার্ডেরও উদ্বোধন করেন।

বসিরহাট হাসপাতাল থেকে এই কর্মসূচিতে ভার্চুয়ালি যুক্ত ছিলেন বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার পুলিশ সুপার অলকনন্দা ভাওয়াল (IPS), বসিরহাট স্বাস্থ্য জেলার সিএমওএইচ (CMOH) ড. রবিউল ইসলাম গায়েন এবং বসিরহাট হাসপাতালের সুপারিন্টেনডেন্ট ড. রঞ্জন রায় সহ অন্যান্য স্বাস্থ্য আধিকারিক ও সংশ্লিষ্ট ব্যক্তিবর্গ। এই রাজ্যব্যাপী উদ্যোগের অংশ হিসেবে আজ বসিরহাট হাসপাতালেও এইচপিভি টিকাকরণ কর্মসূচির সূচনা করা হয়।

A significant step towards cervical cancer prevention and women's health was taken today with the inauguration of the HPV Vaccination Programme by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal Shri Suvendu Adhikari from Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital, Saltlake Kolkata also inaugurated a new 100-bed ward at Kolkata's SSKM Hospital

The programme was attended virtually from Basirhat Hospital by Superintendent of Police, Basirhat Police District Alaknanda Bhowal, IPS, Dr. Rabiul Islam Gayen, CMOH, Basirhat Health District, and Dr. Ranjan Roy, Superintendent, Basirhat Hospital, along with other health officials and stakeholders.

The HPV Vaccination Programme was also launched at Basirhat Hospital as part of this statewide initiative.

This initiative reflects the Government of West Bengal's commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of adolescent girls through preventive healthcare and immunization.

Together, we move towards a healthier and cervical cancer-free future.

🚨 বসিরহাট ট্রাফিক পুলিশ উচ্চ শব্দযুক্ত এবং পরিবর্তিত (modified) সাইলেন্সার ব্যবহার করা মোটরবাইকের বিরুদ্ধে একটি বিশেষ চেকিং অভিযান চালিয়েছে। অভিযানে বেশ কয়েকটি যানবাহন পরীক্ষা করে আইন লঙ্ঘনকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে ই-চালান জারি করা হয় এবং ঘটনাস্থলেই অবৈধ পরিবর্তিত সাইলেন্সারগুলো খুলে ফেলা হয়। শব্দদূষণ কমাতে, রাস্তায় শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখতে এবং জননিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করতে এই উদ্যোগ নেওয়া হয়েছে। সমাজের সার্বিক শান্তি ও নিরাপত্তা বজায় রাখতে বসিরহাট ট্রাফিক পুলিশ সর্বদা প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

🚨 Basirhat Traffic Police conducted a special checking drive against motorcycles using high-sound and modified silencers. During the operation, several vehicles were inspected, e-challans were issued against violators, and illegal modified silencers were removed on the spot.

The initiative has been undertaken to reduce noise pollution, ensure road discipline, and maintain peace and safety for the public. Basirhat Traffic Police remains committed to creating a safer and more peaceful environment for society and the people at large.

আজ বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলা-এর অন্তর্গত উচ্চপদস্থ পুলিশ অফিসারগণ, সকল আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তবর্তী থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত আধিকারিক এবং বর্ডার সিকিউরিটি ফোর্স (BSF)-এর আধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সমন্বয় সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এবং যৌথভাবে সীমান্ত এলাকায় পেট্রোলিং ও চেকিং পরিচালনা করা হয়।

Today, a crucial coordination meeting was held with senior police officials of the Basirhat Police District, Officers-in-Charge (IC & O/C) of all international bordering police stations, and officials of the Border Security Force (BSF). বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলা অবৈধ বালি ও মাটি পরিবহনের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর পদক্ষেপ নিচ্ছে।

১৯ মে, ২০২৬ তারিখে নাজত পুলিশ বাওনিয়া ঘাটের কাছে বিদ্যাধরী নদীর তীরে অভিযান চালিয়ে ৫টি ইঞ্জিন চালিত ভ্যান বালি সহ আটক করে এবং ৬ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করে। গ্রেপ্তারকৃতরা হলেন সুশান্ত সর্দার, বিশ্বজিৎ নায়েক, দুধকমল ঘান্টি, বিজয় মাইতি, প্রতাপ মান্না এবং গোপাল মণ্ডল। তাদের বিরুদ্ধে আইনি ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হয়েছে। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, এই ধরনের অভিযান অব্যাহত থাকবে|

১৯.০৫.২০২৬ তারিখের গভীর রাতে, মাটিয়া থানার সীমার মধ্যে ধন্যকুড়িয়া এলাকায় সন্দেহভাজন মাটির অবৈধ পরিবহনের অভিযোগে দুটি ট্রাক্টর আটক করা হয়। তদন্তের পর উক্ত যানবাহনগুলো জব্দ করা হয়েছে এবং দুই চালককে মাটিয়া থানা থেকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে।

অভিযুক্তদের বিরুদ্ধে মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে এবং ঘটনার আরও তদন্ত চলছে।

In its continued crackdown against illegal sand and soil transportation, Basirhat Police District has taken decisive action in multiple operations .

In one such operation, Nazat Police carried out a raid near Baonia Ghat along the banks of the Vidyadhari River and seized 5 engine-powered vans loaded with illegally transported sand. Six persons were arrested in connection with the case. The arrested accused have been identified as Sushanta Sardar, Biswajit Nayek, Dudhakamal Ghanti, Bijoy Maity, Pratap Manna, and Gopal Mondal. Appropriate legal action has been initiated against them.

In a separate operation conducted during the late hours of 19.05.2026, Matia Police intercepted two tractors in the Dhanyakuria area under Matia Police Station limits on suspicion of illegal soil transportation. Upon verification, both vehicles were seized and two drivers were arrested.

Cases have been registered in both incidents, and further investigation is underway.

Basirhat Police District remains committed to taking firm and sustained action against illegal mining and unauthorized transportation activities to maintain law and order and protect environmental resources.

বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলায় চলমান বিশেষ অভিযানে সাফল্য:

সন্দেশখালি, ১৯ মে: বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলায় চলমান বিশেষ অভিযানের অংশ হিসেবে আজকে দুটি সফল অভিযান চালানো হয়েছে।

মিনাখা থানার পুলিশ দক্ষিণ বারগা গ্রামে অভিযান চালিয়ে একটি এক নলা দেশি বন্দুক এবং ছয়টি কার্তুজ উদ্ধার করেছে। ঘটনার তদন্ত চলছে।

হারোয়া থানার পুলিশ হারানের ঘেরি এলাকায় অভিযান চালিয়ে একজন ব্যক্তিকে আটক করেছে এবং তার কাছ থেকে একটি লম্বা এক নলা বন্দুক এবং একটি তাজা রাউন্ড উদ্ধার করেছে। অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তিকে গ্রেপ্তার করে সাত দিনের পুলিশি হেফাজতের জন্য কোর্টে পাঠানো হয়েছে।

Basirhat Police District Achieves Success in Ongoing Special Operation:

Sandeshkhali, 19th May: As part of the ongoing special operation in Basirhat Police District, two successful raids were conducted today.

Minakha Police Station conducted a raid in South Barga village and recovered one single-barrel country-made gun and six cartridges. The investigation is ongoing.

Harua Police Station conducted a raid in Haran's Gheri area and arrested one person, recovering one long single-barrel gun and one live round. The accused has been arrested and sent to court with a prayer for 7 days police custody.

Today, a significant Border Coordination Meeting was organized at Ghojadanga ICP under the initiative of Basirhat Police District. The meeting was attended by Shri Sumanjit Ray, IPS, DIG Border (in the rank of IGP), IB, West Bengal. Also present were Smt. Shilpa Gourisaria, IAS, District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas; Ms. Alaknanda Bhowal, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Basirhat Police District; Shri Vishnu Das, IAS, ADM (LR), North 24 Parganas; and Ms. Jasleen Kaur, IAS, SDO, Basirhat.

The meeting was further attended by Company Commanders of various BSF battalions under Basirhat Police District, BDOs of different blocks under Basirhat Sub-Division, representatives and senior officials from Central IB, IB, the Land & Land Reforms Department, Customs, Excise, and other concerned departments. ICs and OCs of all police stations having international borders under Basirhat Police District were also present during the meeting.

Several important issues relating to border management and security were discussed in detail during the meeting. The key agenda points included strengthening border security, sharing data regarding illicit touts, enhancing riverine patrolling, exchange of information regarding active border crimes and criminals, prevention of illegal infiltration and human trafficking, and conducting joint patrolling operations to curb smuggling activities.

All participating officials emphasized the importance of inter-departmental coordination, intelligence sharing, and joint operational efforts to further strengthen security and maintain law and order in the international border areas.

সভায় সীমান্ত ব্যবস্থাপনা ও নিরাপত্তা সংক্রান্ত একাধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় নিয়ে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয়। আলোচ্য বিষয়গুলির মধ্যে ছিল সীমান্ত নিরাপত্তা জোরদার করা, অবৈধ দালালচক্র সংক্রান্ত তথ্য আদান-প্রদান, নদীপথে টহলদারি বৃদ্ধি, সীমান্তবর্তী এলাকায় সক্রিয় অপরাধ ও অপরাধীদের তথ্য বিনিময়, অবৈধ অনুপ্রবেশ ও মানব পাচার প্রতিরোধ এবং চোরাচালান রুখতে যৌথ টহলদারি পরিচালনা।

সভায় উপস্থিত সকল আধিকারিক আন্তর্জাতিক সীমান্তবর্তী এলাকায় নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা ও আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা আরও সুদৃঢ় করতে আন্তঃবিভাগীয় সমন্বয়, গোয়েন্দা তথ্য আদান-প্রদান এবং যৌথ অভিযানের উপর বিশেষ গুরুত্ব আরোপ করেন।

Today, in the presence of the District Magistrate of North 24 Parganas, Shilpa Gaurisaria, IAS and the Superintendent of Police of Basirhat Police District, Alaknanda Bhowal,IPS an important coordination meeting was held with senior officials of the Border Security Force, various Block Development Officers of the District, officials of the Land & Land Reforms Department, and other civil officials regarding border fencing and land acquisition along the international border.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on further strengthening security arrangements in the international border areas, expediting the border fencing work, and resolving various issues related to land acquisition.

Further initiatives being taken to materialise the border security in the coming days.

বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার বিভিন্ন এলাকায় অবৈধ গবাদি পশু পাচারের বিরুদ্ধে ধারাবাহিকভাবে অভিযান ও ধরপাকড় চলছে। এই অভিযানে পাচারের সঙ্গে জড়িত ব্যক্তিদের আটক করা হচ্ছে এবং উদ্ধার হওয়া গবাদি পশু আইনানুগ প্রক্রিয়ার মাধ্যমে সংশ্লিষ্ট স্থানে সংরক্ষণ করে রাখা হচ্ছে।

ধৃতদের বিরুদ্ধে বসিরহাট পুলিশ জেলার বিভিন্ন থানায় নির্দিষ্ট ধারায় মামলা রুজু করে প্রয়োজনীয় আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হচ্ছে।

Continuous raids and crackdowns are being carried out in different areas of Basirhat Police District against illegal cattle smuggling. During these operations, persons involved in smuggling activities are being apprehended, and the rescued cattle are being kept in safe custody through due legal procedure.

Cases are being registered against the arrested persons under relevant sections at various police stations of Basirhat Police District, and necessary legal action is being taken.
