Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti Baramulla in collaboration with tashil legal services committee pattan organized an awareness programme on women centic schemes,posh act at Anganwadi center zangam pattan,under the banner of , Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) and other women-centric schemes. The initiative aimed at sensitizing the community about the harmful consequences of substance abuse while also creating awareness about government interventions designed to empower women.

Resource persons spoke at length about flagship programmes such as the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), One Stop Centre (OSC) Scheme, Sankalp hub, Women Helpline (181),state marriage assistance scheme, women in distress, sponsorship scheme etc. They emphasized the importance of these schemes in ensuring maternal health, women’s safety, and socia empowerment.

Officials of the Sankalp Hub highlighted that the dual focus on eradicating drug abuse and advancing gender equity is vital for building healthier and stronger communities. The initiative was widely appreciated by the local women, who called for more such awareness drives in rural areas of the district.the program was attented by Asha workers,,,Anganwadi workers, local ladies.

Today on 16-02-2026, SANKALP Hub for empowerment of women Baramulla conducted an awareness program on Nasha mukht bharat at Panchayat hathlangoo
& SANKALP Hub for empowerment of women Baramulla conducted an awareness cm training program at Panchayat lalpora for Nari Adalat members regarding various community based issues and solutions to tackle below mentioned issues faced such as domestic violence, property disputes, drug addiction, harrasment and child labour. On the occasion Gender Specialist Miss Aishia subhan provided training for the betterment and welfare of community .The highlights of the awareness were information about women centric schemes available at different departments.At the end of the program also the Question answer session was taken with Nari Adalat members.
