On the occasion of the 65th Foundation Day of CMTI, we were privileged to welcome Hon'ble Minister , Shri. H. D. Kumaraswamy, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Steel, Government of India, to our institute.
Dr. Nagahanumaiah, Director of Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI), highlighted CMTI's growth, achievements, and contributions to the nation's manufacturing ecosystem. He acknowledged the continuous support and guidance extended by the Ministry of Heavy Industries in strengthening CMTI's capabilities and enabling its transformation into a leading center of excellence in manufacturing technology. On behalf of all CMTI employees, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry for its unwavering support, encouragement, and commitment to advancing innovation, research, and industrial development in India.
A strong advocate of industrial growth, technology adoption, and manufacturing excellence, Shri. During the visit, the Hon'ble Minister:
🔹 Inaugurated newly established advanced manufacturing machines and facilities
🔹 Participated in a sapling plantation drive, highlighting the importance of sustainable industrial development
🔹Witnessed the exchange of MoUs with industry partners, strengthening strategic collaborations and fostering joint research, technology development, and commercialisation.
🔹 Presided over the transfer of technologies to industry partners, reinforcing the vision of translating research into industrial impact
