ಆನೆಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ವೃದಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಯೋಜನೆ' ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಅನುಮತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಲೂಟ್ಟಿ ಕೊರರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಆವಕಾಶ ಆಗಬಹುದು, ನೆನ್ನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿಜಯ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯ ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಏನಪ್ಪಾ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶಾದಿ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ ತುಂಬಾ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ಅವರ ಕಣಕಣ ಭಾಗ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಏನು? ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಆ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಯಾಗಿ ಇರುವುದೇ ಕಾರಣ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೆ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಂತಹ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮಾಡಲು ಯಾರು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೋರಿಕೆ ಸಲ್ಲಬೇಕು?
