ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ, ಕಸ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು, ‘ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಬ್ಬ’ದಂತಹ ಆಡಂಬರದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರ ತೆರಿಗೆ ಹಣವನ್ನು ದುಂದುವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೇಡು. ದಿನನಿತ್ಯ ಕಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ದುಡಿಯುವ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಈ ನೋವಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ನೇರ ಹೊಣೆ!

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಿರುವುದು ಬರೀ ಪ್ರಚಾರದ ಹಬ್ಬಗಳಲ್ಲ; ಸ್ವಚ್ಛ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಸುಗಮ ಸಂಚಾರ ಹಾಗೂ ಭದ್ರ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತು ಈ ಅವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಒದಗಿಸಿ!

After approving an increase of up to ₹8 per litre in Nandini milk prices, the government is now reportedly preparing to hike bus fares by 10% to 13% across state transport corporations, including BMTC. At a time when people are already struggling with rising costs, this is yet another burden on their daily lives.

Bus fares, electricity charges, taxes on petrol and diesel, property registration fees, water and waste management charges, and Metro fares have all added to the financial pressure on citizens. While the government claims to provide relief through its guarantees, people are increasingly facing higher taxes, charges and prices that put an additional strain on household budgets.

From families buying milk to students, workers, employees and the middle class relying on public transport, the impact of these hikes will be felt directly by the people. A government that should make life easier for citizens cannot keep passing the burden of its financial mismanagement onto them. Chief Minister D.K. Bengaluru’s people are now forced to travel with their lives in their hands. Instead of limiting yourselves to PR stunts, publicity and speeches, why not take a boat and actually see the situation on the ground?

If you cannot provide relief from this traffic nightmare, pothole-ridden roads and waterlogged streets, then at least admit that you are incapable of fixing Bengaluru’s problems.

ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಹಲವು ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಾಯಕಿಯರ ಗೌರವಧನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ನಂತರ ಈ ಭರವಸೆ ಈಡೇರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದರೂ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮೌನವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರ ಅಸಮಾಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಲವು ಜನಪರ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಗೌರವಧನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರ, ಈಗ ಆ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸುವತ್ತ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಭರವಸೆಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ಮತ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಬಾರದು.

ಜನರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ನಂತರವೂ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ. ಗ್ಯಾರಂಟಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಣಾಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಇತರ ಭರವಸೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಡೇರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅಂಗನವಾಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತೆಯರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ₹15 ಸಾವಿರ ಗೌರವಧನದ ಭರವಸೆ ಯಾವಾಗ ಜಾರಿಯಾಗಲಿದೆ? ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಬೇಕಿದೆ.

Congress made several promises before the elections, including a significant promise to increase the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and helpers. After coming to power, the workers have been waiting with the expectation that this promise would be fulfilled. However, years have passed, and the Congress government has remained silent without taking clear action on the issue.

Anganwadi workers play an important role in delivering several government welfare programmes to people at the grassroots level. The Congress government had promised to increase their honorarium during the election campaign. It is now time for the government to take concrete steps to fulfil that promise. Election promises should not remain mere statements made to secure votes.

It is the government’s responsibility to honour the commitments made to the people after coming to power. Along with the guarantee schemes, the government must also address the other promises made in its election manifesto. When will the promise of increasing the honorarium of Anganwadi workers to ₹15,000 be implemented? The Congress government must now give a clear answer.

ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪದವೀಧರರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು. ಮೈತ್ರಿಕೂಟದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು ಈ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ NDA ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಭಾರಿ ಗೆಲುವಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ H D Kumaraswamy, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ವೈ. ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ, ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೂ ಛಲವಾದಿ ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಸಂಸದರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿ ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಉಭಯ ಪಕ್ಷಗಳ ಶಾಸಕರು, ಪ್ರಮುಖರು, ಮುಖಂಡರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಅವರೇ, ಗೃಹ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ X (ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್)ನಲ್ಲಿ ಗುದ್ದಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬ್ಯುಸಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕೇಳಿಬರುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಬದಲು, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕೇಳಿದವರನ್ನೇ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಟ್ವೀಟ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡುವುದೇ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆಯೇ?

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧ, ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತುಗಳ ಜಾಲ, ಸೈಬರ್ ಕ್ರೈಂ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹಲವು ಸವಾಲುಗಳಿವೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರ ಗಮನ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದ ವಾಗ್ವಾದಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರಬೇಕೋ, ಅಥವಾ ಜನರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪರಾಧ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣದ ಮೇಲಿರಬೇಕೋ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಅವರೇ, Xನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗುದ್ದಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಮುಗಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ! ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ತಪ್ಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುವವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಟ್ವಿಟ್ಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡುವ ಬದಲು, ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಿ.

Home Minister Priyank Kharge, instead of focusing on the responsibilities of the Home Department, you seem more interested in getting into Twitter battles with entrepreneurs, members of the public and opposition voices who question the government’s failures. Rather than addressing the questions being raised, your priority appears to be responding to those who raise them.

Karnataka, especially Bengaluru, faces serious challenges involving crime, drug networks, cybercrime and law and order. At a time when people expect the Home Minister to focus on public safety and crime prevention, should the priority really be political arguments and Twitter exchanges?

Priyank Kharge, being active on Twitter does not fulfil the responsibility of a Home Minister! Instead of fighting with those who question the government on social media, focus on fighting crime on the ground. People need action, not Twitter arguments; better law and order, not political trolling!
