The Teachers of underprivileged Private schools are having a tough time, This category of schools operate on low budget since the parents of the kids work in professions like Auto Drivers, House help, Drivers, Security Guards, Operators, Labours, Mechanics, petty business etc.. Money inflow to school is generally uneven, Larger part of the fees reaches school just before final exams due to financial condition of parents, and some money does not come at all. But this time larger part of fees did not come to school since Final exams were called off due to Covid-19 and soon after there was a lock down, as a consequence the Teachers did not get salaries for the last 3 months, coming months would not be very different as schools are not going to reopen soon. There is a hope for the money to flow-in if they start Online Classes since some parents have kind of jobs which allows them to pay fees in this situation too. There are few Blockers for Online teaching though, first being Smartphone unavailability with most of the kids and Secondly money to buy internet data for online teaching. I was wondering if any corporate can help with funds and a platform for School to begin classes for at least 8th , 9th & 10th Graders so that money starts circulating and teachers can start getting some money.
