The Book Nook, a brainchild of Manju J (MJ), began to take shape in the year 2013. With a love for used books, MJ started to add more books to his collection, quickly filling the study room (also home office) of his home, opening doors to readers and delivering books by appointment. The books started to spill, overfilling the shelves, then cabinets, a large entertainment unit, eventually tumbling

down the living room! A year later, MJ opened his first store on the Hennur Main Road, Bangalore. Well, your taste in reading may be different from that of most people and you may sometimes have difficulty finding just the kind of book that appeals to you. But no matter what sort of book you enjoy, you'll positively find something to your liking in this store. In the present times, one can get books easily, even online but most would agree an independent book store is incredibly important and The Book Nook is for readers seeking literature and more, not just the top ten bestsellers.
