Set up in 1960 by the Government of India, it functions as a centre for applied research in electrical power engineering assisting the electrical industry in product development and quality assurance. CPRI also serves as an independent authority for testing and certification of power equipment. CPRI's governing body includes eminent profes

sionals from industries & utilities, prestigious academic and research institutions & the government. It employs over 300 highly qualified and experienced engineers & scientists besides other supporting staff.

Shri Piyush Singh, Addl Secretary, MoP addressed the official session of the working groups at the summit room at the India AI Impact Summit.

Presenting the outcomes of the Resilience, Innovation & Efficiency working group, Sh Piyush Singh, outlined the importance of promoting lean, resource - efficient, context - specific systems design and advancing shared learning principles.

The working group delivered a playbook outlining practical pathways for advancing efficient and resource - conscious AI for stakeholders across diverse levels of adoption to leverage resource - efficient AI.

Shri Piyush Singh was joined by Ms Anne Bouverot, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS-PSL), and the French President's special envoy for AI as co-chair for the working group presentation.

At the event, the Resilient AI Challenge was also launched by the working group in partnership with UNESCO.
