Invitation to Attend Annual General Body Meeting (AGM)

Greetings from the KKS Executive Committee Members!

We are pleased to inform you that the Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of Karnataka Kayastha Samaj (KKS) is scheduled to be held on 7th September 2025 at 10.30 AM, at Alliance Francaise Auditorium, as per the KKS's by-laws.

This meeting is a crucial platform for reviewing our collective progress, sharing financial and activity reports, discussing future plans, and strengthening member engagement. Your presence, suggestions, and support are vital in shaping the KKS’s vision and ensuring transparency in our functioning.

We sincerely request all members to attend the AGM and actively participate in the deliberations. Let us continue working together towards the betterment of our community.

*KKS Helps Homeless – a small step towards building a more compassionate and inclusive society*

As part of Charitable Activities, KKS provided a premium wheelchair and a big vessel with a lid (worth 15k) for cooking 45 kgs of food (weighing 70kgs) to the AIR Humanitarian Homes, Bannerghatta, Bangalore, today. KKS provided two wheelchairs, 100 blankets, and 15 walking sticks to AIR Humanitarian Homes last year.

Helping the homeless is indeed a humbling experience. Engaging in such activities provides tangible support to those in need and also deepens empathy and understanding towards humanity. It underscores the importance of community, compassion, and the realization that small acts of kindness can make a significant difference in someone’s life. Through these experiences, we often find that we gain as much as we give, fostering a deeper connection to our shared humanity.

As per the plan, a charity event was organized today to support homeless individuals in our society, especially in Bangalore. A team of 5 EC members of KKS (Mr. Rajani Kant Srivastava, Mr. Rajiv Saxena, Mrs. Baljit Saxena, Mrs. Anupam Saxena, and the undersigned) visited the AIR Humanitarian Homes, Bannerghatta, Bangalore, donated the items mentioned above, and spent time with the homeless, listening to their stories, and providing emotional support.

The EC team addressed a gathering of more than 400+ homeless individuals who are being taken care of by the efficient team including Mr. Praveen R, Chief of Service, Ms. Merry, and Head Cook of AIR Humanitarian Homes, offering them immediate relief and fostering a sense of family and care. KKS salutes them for doing noble work with sincerity and dedication.

This activity was a small step towards addressing the larger issue of homelessness, aiming to bring dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging to those in need. KKS will make this a regular initiative, with the next event focusing on providing clothes.

Dear Esteemed Members,

Greetings from the KKS EC Team!

I hope you are doing great with your health, profession, passion, and social obligations.

An Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Karnataka Kayastha Samaj (KKS) serves as the cornerstone of a social society's governance, offering a vital platform for transparency, accountability, and member engagement. It is a time for reflection on the past year’s (FY 2023-24) achievements, discussions on future initiatives, and an opportunity for members to voice their opinions and vote on key issues. The AGM fosters a sense of community and shared purpose, ensuring that the society remains aligned with its mission and responsive to the needs and aspirations of its members.

It is with great pleasure that I extend this cordial invitation to all esteemed members of our wonderful Social Society – Karnataka Kayastha Samaj (KKS) to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the FY 2023-24 followed by VIBGYOR (a musical event celebrating Hindu festivals Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Independence Day by the KKS family members/ artists and delicious Veg and Non-Veg lunch.

As an integral part of KKS, the team EC believes in nurturing our bonds beyond the usual gatherings. This year also, we have decided to combine our Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a musical soirée to make the occasion more engaging and enjoyable for everyone, followed by a delicious lunch, all at a subsidized contribution of Rs. 800/- all-inclusive per person and nil for children below 6 years of age. The food coupons will be provided at the time of registration.

After the AGM formalities, we will immerse ourselves in a delightful musical experience featuring performances from our talented members. If you have any musical talent and would like to showcase it during the event, please let us know in advance so we can include you in the lineup.

The musical event has been thoughtfully titled VIBGYOR, as we will celebrate many festivals together giving all of you a feeling of festivities.
This event will be an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow members, share memorable moments, and relish the magic of music and togetherness together. We encourage you to bring your family members to join the festivities and make the afternoon more joyful.
