On the 14th of June, we teamed up with Silver Talkies to host an online teaching session for the elderly on Google Lens. With the help of Silver Talkies, we were able to fulfil why Virtual Shiksha was founded - to achieve digital literacy among the senior citizens. The ever enthusiastic participants made it all the more enjoyable and interactive and were eager to learn. We would like to thank them for allowing us to be a part of their helpful and innovative classes. Looking forward to working with them in the future!

We are pleased to inform you that on the 29th of January we at Virtual Shiksha successfully completed over six sessions of the “Mahila Shikshana” programme with the help of The Innerwheel Club Bangalore. We want to thank Dream Foundation Bangalore for giving us this opportunity to work with domestic helps and get them a step closer to digital literacy. A special thank you to our volunteers who took time out of their busy schedules to help us conduct this workshop.

We are happy to announce that our first offline workshop for ladies of low-income households was a great success. With interactive and satisfied participants our sessions went by smoothly and we were able to teach them the basics of Google Search, Ola and Aarogya Setu. We are truly grateful to the Inner Wheel Club Bangalore for giving us this opportunity and hope to extend our help to as many people from as many sections of society as we can. 🙌
