God says, "God’s love is practical: Through the grace of God, man avoids one disaster after another, and all the while God shows tolerance time and again for man’s weaknesses. The judgment and chastisement of God allow people to gradually come to know mankind’s corruption and satanic essence. That which God provides, His enlightenment of man and His guidance all allow mankind to know more and more the essence of truth, and to increasingly know what people need, what road they should take, what they live for, the value and meaning of their lives, and how to walk the road ahead."
"What is true salvation?
Is it really as simple as acknowledging with your mouth and believing in your heart to be saved?
Many people believe that as long as they acknowledge with their mouth and believe in their heart, they will be saved, and that once saved, they are saved forever, and that they can be directly raptured into the kingdom of heaven when the Lord comes. But is salvation really as simple as we think? If it were that easy to enter the kingdom of heaven, wouldn't it be overflowing with people long ago!
Regarding what kind of people can enter the kingdom of heaven, the Lord Jesus spoke very clearly.
The Lord Jesus said, ""Jesus answered them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the Son stays ever.""
'Be you holy; for I am holy.'(1 Peter 1:16).
The Lord Jesus clearly tells us that only those who are freed from sin and corruption and purified can have a share in the kingdom of heaven. Can acknowledging God with your mouth and believing in God in your heart represent no longer sinning, no longer disobeying God, and no longer resisting God? Can it represent the complete cleansing of sin? Unfortunately, of course not. Then that person is still not worthy to enter the kingdom of heaven and cannot be considered saved.
Some people ask, if being saved by grace does not count as true salvation, then what does true salvation refer to?
Salvation refers to the forgiveness of sins through the redemption of the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus was nailed to the cross and bore all our sins, so we are no longer condemned by the law. We are qualified to come before God to pray to God, fellowship with God, and enjoy the rich grace and truth that the Lord bestows on people, and will no longer be condemned to death by the law for committing sins. But this does not mean that we have gotten rid of the bo***ge of sin.
For example, we can still often lie and commit sins, we can still be jealous and hate people in our hearts, and we can still be arrogant and conceited to reveal ourselves. Sometimes we will exalt ourselves and belittle others. When we encounter natural disasters, human misfortunes, setbacks, and failures, we can still reason with God, resist, complain, and betray God. When God's work does not conform to people's concepts, we will also judge God and resist God. These are all concrete manifestations of our being bound by sin. How can it be possible to be saved once and for all?
The scriptures say, ""Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."" (1 Peter 1:5). ""For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God"" (1 Peter 4:17). The Lord Jesus also prophesied, ""However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth"" (John 16:13).
From these scriptures, we can see that we who have been saved by grace must also accept the salvation revealed in the last days, that is, when the Lord comes in the last days, He will express all the truths that purify and save mankind, and do the work of judgment beginning with the house of God, thoroughly resolve people's satanic nature, and enable people to break away from sin and achieve salvation and ultimately be gained by God.
In this way, we can no longer make deals with God, no longer believe in the Lord for the sake of gaining blessings and grace, but worship God for the sake of fulfilling the duty of a created being, and believe in God for the sake of pursuing truth and gaining life. At that time, our views on things, our outlook on life, and our values will be in harmony with God, our dispositions will be changed, and we will become a person who obeys God, fears God, and loves God. This is true salvation. Only then are we qualified to enter the kingdom of God and obtain God's promises and blessings."
