*Bandipora Police seeks help to trace out a missing lady of Hajin.*

Bandipora 26/02/202 :
Police station Hajin recieved a written complaint from one person namely Ishafq Ahmad Khan R/o Bun Mohalla Hajin that her wife namely Sheeraza Begum ,Age about 25 years R/o Bon Mohallah Hajin,mother of three children is missing since 22/02/2022.The said lady had went to Hajin market for some domestic work and didn't return back and till now the said lady couldn't be traced out.

In this regard Bandipora police seeks help of general public to trace the missing women.

*Bandipora police solved ATM card fraud Case within 24 hours,Accused arrested, Illegally withdrawn Cash recovered.*

Bandipora 25 February 2022:
On 23-02-2022 ,police station Bandipora recieved a complaint from one Farooq Ahmad Mir R/o Nadihal alleging that an unknown person fraudently exchanged his ATM Card while he was at an ATM in Bandipora to withdraw some cash and the accused has withdrawn an amount of Rs 30,000 from the complainant's account.

In this regard Case FIR No.30 /2022 under relevant sections was registered in police station Bandipora and further investigation taken up.
A team headed by SHO PS Bandipora under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora was constituted and during the course of investigation few suspects were zeroed in and with technical support and Identification parade was held of some suspects.

During Identification Parade, one suspect person namely Khalid Ramzan Mir S/o Mohd Ramzan Mir R/o Kaloosa Bandipora was identified by the complainant and the accused confessed to have committed the crime and on his disclosure an amount of Rs 23,000 and two ATM cards were recovered from the house of the accused.The Accused was arrested and further investigation of the Case is going on.

*Bandipora police recovered consignment of Narcotic Substances from Panzigam Bandipora,02 accused arrested.Case FIR registered.*

Bandipora 15 Feb.2022:
Police Station Bandipora received a specific information through reliable sources that two persons namely Shameem Ahmad Mir S/o Jamaal Mir R/o New Colony Ajas and Ahsan-ul Haq S/o Noor Mohd Jan R/O Jan Mohallah Ajas have concealed a large quantity of Narcotic Substances in the residential house of one person namely Rizwan Ahmad Khan S/o Reyaz Ahmad Khan R/o Panzigam Bandipora. Accordingly Case FIR NO.22/2022 NDPS Act was registered in police station Bandipora and investigation taken up.

Acting on this information a police party headed by SHO P/S Bandipora under the supervision of DySP HQRS Bandipora accompanied by Executive Magistrate Bandipora ,raided the residential house and during search 56 bottles of banned Psychotropic substance Codeine Phosphate were recovered from the said residential house and the two accused persons Shameem Ahmad Mir and Ahsan-ul Haq were arrested on spot.However house owner Rizwan Ahmad Khan S/o Reyaz Ahmad Khan R/o Panzigam fled away from spot and efforts are on to nab him.Further investigation of the instant Case is going on.

*Bandipora police arrested 02 drug Bootleggers at Garoora Aragam,Illicit Liquor recovered from their possession,Case FIR registered.*

Bandipora 09 February 2022:
Continuing its drive against the menace of drugs and illicit liquor, Bandipora Police today arrested two bootleggers at Wullar Vantage Garoora and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.

Acting on a specific information a police party led by SHO P/S Argam Insp.Masood ul Hassan under the supervision of DySP PC Bandipora Shri Faizan Ali (JKPS) established a Naka at Wullar Vantage Garoora Aragam.During naka checking, a Scooty bearing registration number JK15A- 4850 was signalled to stop and during checking of the said vehicle, two suspicious persons were found to be carrying 14 illicit liquor bottles in the said vehicle.

The individuals were detained and the vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized. The accused have been identified as Sajad Ahmad Beigh @ Shahzad S/O Gh Mohd Beigh and Mohd Mustafa Beigh S/O Ab Rashid both residents of Guzarbal Bankoot Bandipora.

During Preliminary enquiry, it came to surface that the illicit liquor was meant for sale in the general area of Bandipora.

Upon this case FIR no. 01/2022 under relevant sections of Excise act has been registered in Police station Argam and further investigation taken up.

*Bandipora police recovered Illicit forest timber in Aloosa, Accused arrested.Case FIR registered.*

Bandipora 02-02-2022:-
Bandipora police recieved a specific information regarding movement of timber smugglers in Aloosa area.

Acting on this information a police party led by I/C PP Aloosa SI Mohmmad Mushtaq under Supervision of DySP Hqrs Bandipora, laid a surprise naka at Aloosa chowk. During checking one vehicle bearing registration no JK01K-4964 was stopped and during checking large quantity of illicit forest timber was recovered from said vehicle. The accused who is a notorious timber smuggler identified as Mudasir Ahmad Dar S/o Mohd Yousf Dar R/o Illahipora Aloosa has been arrested on spot and vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.

In this regard case FIR under relevant sections of IPC and Forest Act has been registered in police station Bandipora. Further investigation of the Case is going on.

Bandipora 31 January 2022:&
Bandipora police continuity it's drive against the menace of drugs and other contraband substances today arrested two bootleggers at Pazalpora Pethkote and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.

Acting on a specific information a police party led by SHO P/S Pethkoot Insp.Tanveer Ahmed under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Bandipora Dr.Mohd Idrees Wani JKPS established Naka at Pazalpora near forest Check Post.During checking a vehicle bearing registration number JK01K-9517 was signalled to stop and during checking of the said vehicle two suspicious persons were arrested, who were carrying 15 illegal liquor bottles in the said vehicle.The vehicle used in the commission of crime has also been seized.

The accused have been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Ganie S/o Mohd Ramzan Ganie R/o Ayatmulla , and Javaid Ahmad Ahanger S/o Abdul Rahman R/o Bankoot. During Preliminary enquiry it was revealed that the accused were supplying liquor to the youths of area to make them liquor Addict. Upon this case FIR no.03/2022 under relevant sections of Excise act has been registered in Police station Pethkote and further investigation has been taken up.
