Fight against drug abuse is on!

A temporary shed being used for drug abuse was located and dismantled tonight in the effort to curb drug addiction in youth.

তরুণদের মধ্যে মাদকাসক্তি রোধের প্রচেষ্টার অংশ হিসেবে, আজ রাতে মাদক সেবনের জন্য ব্যবহৃত একটি অস্থায়ী আস্তানা শনাক্ত করে তা গুঁড়িয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে।

Today on 14.06.2026, on receipt of a credible source information, a naka checking was conducted at Mehedipara. During checking, one bus was intercepted and searched. Huge quantity of contraband items were recovered and seized. Two persons arrested and a case has been started under proper section of law. On the other hand one temporary shed structure was also identified and dismantled in fight against drug addiction at Gangarampur.

আজ ১৪.০৬.২০২৬ তারিখে একটি নির্ভরযোগ্য সূত্রের তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে মেহদিপাড়ায় তল্লাশি অভিযান (নাকা চেকিং) চালানো হয়। তল্লাশির সময় একটি বাস থামিয়ে তাতে তল্লাশি চালানো হয় এবং বিপুল পরিমাণ নিষিদ্ধ সামগ্রী উদ্ধার ও জব্দ করা হয়। এ ঘটনায় দুজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে এবং আইনের যথাযথ ধারায় একটি মামলা দায়ের করা হয়েছে। অন্যদিকে, গঙ্গারামপুরে মাদকাসক্তির বিরুদ্ধে লড়াইয়ের অংশ হিসেবে একটি অস্থায়ী শেডও শনাক্ত ও ভেঙে ফেলা হয়েছে।

Today morning, a joint raid was conducted with the Excise Department at Debipur Village under Sukdebpur GP, P.S. Gangarampur. During the raid, seized huge quantity of Illicit Distilled Liquor, Fermented Wash, Distillation Apparatus and arrested one person under proper section of law.
