CBSE Board Exams 2023: Instructions
1) Students must report before time at the examination centers – the official reporting time is by 9:30 am.
2) Gates of the Examination Centers would be closed at 10:00 am – students would not be allowed to enter after the gates are closed
3)Students need to carry their CBSE Roll Number duly signed along with their school identity card or any other official Photo ID card – admit cards not signed would not be considered and the student can be stopped at the gate
4) The time of the examination is mentioned in the CBSE Date Sheetas well as the admit cards issued to the students
5) Board Exam begins at 10:30 am and ends at 12:30 or 1:30 pm (depending on the subject). Additional time is given to students with special needs.
6) For CWSN, various facilities like computers and scribes are also available – parents must go through the CBSE Circular for the same to be aware of the same and request in case not made available
7) Students are required to carry the pens and colors as per the requirement of the subject – only the answer sheet and the question paper is provided at the center
8) Diabetic students and students with other special medical needs are allowed to carry their medicine and a small snack for the examination
9) List of things allowed and not allowed at the examination hall is also mentioned on the CBSE Admit Card. The allowed items are pens, water bottle, transparent clip board, small bottle of sanitizer and masks. Any gadgets (including smart watches, digital wrist bands, etc.,) are not allowed.
Detailed instructions regarding the examination are also printed on the admit cards. Parents and students are advised to go through the same without fail. Parents are also recommended to check the route for the examination center a day in advance to avoid last minute rush.
