Today, the students of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Vidya Mandir participated in an educational visit to the Baijnath Police Station.
The purpose of this visit was to provide students with practical knowledge about law enforcement, emergency services, and civic responsibilities.
Upon arrival, the students and accompanying teachers were warmly welcomed by the Station In-Charge and other police officials. The officers guided the students through various sections of the police station and explained how different departments function to ensure public safety and law and order.
During the interaction, the police officers educated the students about the emergency helpline numbers such as 112 (Police & Emergency), 1098 (Child Helpline), and 1090 (Women Helpline) — explaining their importance and proper use in real-life situations.
A special session was conducted on Cyber Security, where students were made aware of online safety practices such as protecting personal information, avoiding suspicious links and messages, and immediately reporting any form of online fraud or cyberbullying.
The officials also shared valuable insights on Road Safety Rules. They highlighted the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts, following traffic signals, and being careful while crossing roads.
Students showed great enthusiasm, asked many thoughtful questions, and received practical answers from the officers. The visit proved to be a valuable, informative, and inspiring experience for all the participants.
The school management expresses sincere gratitude to the Baijnath Police Department for their cooperation and for sharing such important knowledge with the students.
