Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan a legendary Pakistani vocalist and one of the greatest Qawwals (performers of Qawwali) of all time.
He was known for his powerful, soulful voice and for bringing Sufi devotional music to the global stage. His performances were deeply spiritual, emotional, and often felt transcendent, earning him titles like
"Shahenshah-e-Qawwali" (King of Qawwali).
He influenced artists across the world, including in Western music, and his voice still moves millions-even decades after his passing in 1997.
From classical Qawwalis to film soundtracks, his range and depth were unmatched.
