रियो ओलंपिक में साक्षी मलिक का कांस्य तथा पी.वी. सिन्धु को मिला रजत, मानो हरेक भारतवासी का अनमोल खजाना है. तिरंगे के विशाल वट-वृक्ष के तले हम एक ध्वनि, एक स्वर, एक सांस लिए, एक पल को मानो थम-से गए हो; यह एक ऐसी ही अनुभूति है. आम तौर पर भारतीयता का एक अदृश्य सूत्र हमारे दिलों में छुपा रहता है, पर जैसे ही गौरव का कोई क्षण दीखता है, वही नाजुक सूत्र, अचानक किसी लोहे के जंजीरों-सी मजबूती से हमें बाँधकर एकता रूपी वृहद-विराट स्वरुप उजागर करता है. और आनंद की इस अनूठी घड़ी में हमारे नयन सजल हो जाते हैं.... ओह !

हार-जीत के दायरे से बाहर आकर कोई दीपा कर्मकार हमारे दिल जीत लेती है. और न जाने ऐसे कितने प्रतिभागी, भारत के प्रतिनिधि के रूप में अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ देकर हमारा मान बढ़ा जाते हैं. जीवन के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में अहर्निश, अनवरत साधना में लगे ज्ञात-अज्ञात उन सभी श्रमिकों व कर्मयोगियों को नमन जो आज नही तो कल, अपने हिस्से का इतिहास लिखने को तैयार हो रहे हैं. आइये हम उन सब के श्रम के सम्मुख भरपूर उत्साहवर्धन के जरिये अपने कर्तव्य का निर्वहन करें.

नूतन वर्ष का नव प्रभात सौभाग्य शुभेच्छा लाया,
कोटि-कोटि हृदयों में अनुपम विजय-भाव लहराया ...

चेतन मन हर्षित है, आई चैत्र प्रथम वेला,
आशा का सूर्य उदित, उल्लास लिए सवेरा,

आत्म-बोध के पथ पर हम निश-दिन परमार्थ लुटाएं,
भारत के जन-जन तक हम स्वाभिमान पहुँचाएं ... :)

आज ही के दिन अर्थात् चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा (तदनुसार 7 अप्रैल 1875) ही के दिन महर्षि दयानन्द सरस्वती ने मुम्बई के काकड़वाड़ी में आर्यसमाज की स्थापना की थी। अतः आज आर्यसमाज का स्थापना दिवस भी है।

चैत्र नवरात्र, वर्ष प्रतिपदा, युगादि, गुड़ी पर्व, चेटीचंड आदि की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं :)
