It is a link between 400/220kV POWERGRID Kishenpur substation near Jammu and 400/220kV POWERGRID Wagoora Substation near Srinagar with Power Carrying capacity of approx. 2400MW. This Substation comes under Northern Region Transmission System (NRTS) - II
