ANANTNAG, July 31:
To empower the youth with essential skills, entrepreneurial insights, and real-world exposure, the District Employment and Counselling Centre Anantnag, in collaboration with the Skill Development Department, is organizing a one-day ‘Capacity Building for Entrepreneurship’ Mela under the banner of Mission YUVA.
The event will be held on 2nd August 2025 from 11:00 AM onwards at the Government Polytechnic College, Larkipora, Anantnag.The mela aims to nurture a confident, skilled, and self-reliant generation by providing aspiring entrepreneurs, students, job seekers, and youth across District Anantnag with hands-on learning and professional guidance.

*Online Sensitisation Meeting with SBDU and BHD Members under Mission YUVA* .

A Sensitisation Meeting was convened by Worthy Deputy Commissioner Anantnag ,Shri Fakhruddin Hamid (IAS) with all members of the SBDU and BHD committees to discuss their roles and responsibilities within the Mission YUVA project.

At the outset, the Additional District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, provided insights into the need for launching this flagship initiative, highlighting key achievements under Udhyam Jagriti and the Baseline Survey. The Assistant Director, DE&CC Anantnag, emphasized the importance of a well-structured institutional mechanism for the effective implementation of the mission.

A comprehensive presentation was shared, detailing the specific roles and responsibilities of each member. Team DECC Anantnag guided the committee members through the slides, ensuring clarity and fostering a deeper understanding of their responsibilities.

Key Directives from the Deputy Commissioner:
Yuva Doots will be identified after completing their selection details as per the Yuva Doot Document.
Each Yuva Doot will be assigned specific panchayats, facilitating the structured implementation of the next phase of the project.
This meeting played a crucial role in aligning all stakeholders with the mission’s objectives, ensuring a streamlined and effective ex*****on of Mission YUVA.
