On this holy day of Bhagat Ravidas Jayanti, we bow to the saint whose life was a living message of oneness of God and dignity of all human beings. His sacred hymns preserved in Guru Granth Sahib Ji continue to uplift souls across generations.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਰਤਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਟਸ਼ਾਲਾ, ਅੱਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨਾਟਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਸ. ਜਤਿੰਦਰ ਬਰਾੜ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਰੰਗਮੰਚ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ, ਨਾਟਕਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਨ। 1998 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾਟਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਰੰਗਮੰਚ ਅਤੇ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਮੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ।

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੇ। 🙏

The most priceless gem of Amritsar, Punjab Naatshala, stands today in remembrance.

Its owner and founder, S. Jatinder Brar, was a towering theatre personality, playwright, and engineer. Since establishing Naatshala in 1998, he dedicated his life to nurturing Punjabi theatre and artists, transforming it into a vibrant cultural hub and an enduring legacy for the city.

May God grant his noble soul eternal peace. 🙏

Heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the entire theatre fraternity.
His contribution to Punjabi culture will always be remembered.

ਸਰੋਂ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ‘ਚ ਹੱਸਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ, ਅੰਬਰ ਚੁੰਮਦੇ ਪਤੰਗ।
ਪੀਲੇ ਰੰਗ ‘ਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ,
ਬੁੱਲ੍ਹੇ ਸ਼ਾਹ, ਵਾਰਿਸ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੀ ਰੂਹ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਗਾਉਂਦੀ—ਬਸੰਤ ਆ ਗਿਆ!

ਬਸੰਤ ਹੋਵੇ ਤੇ ਮਾਝੇ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ,
ਪਤੰਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੋਰ, ਢੋਲ ਦੀ ਤਾਲ, ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿਹਰਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਰੌਣਕ।
