Acting on information regarding suspected stolen APDCL wire being transported in an e-rickshaw, Rangia Police immediately launched an operation.
The vehicle was traced under Tamulpur PS jurisdiction and intercepted with the assistance of local police.
During the operation, one person allegedly assaulted a civilian, causing serious injuries.
Police promptly apprehended the e-rickshaw driver and the alleged attacker.
A case has been registered at Rangia PS and both accused persons have been forwarded to the Hon'ble Court.

During the month of May 2026, Boko Police Station successfully recovered 15 lost mobile handsets through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) Portal.

Following proper verification and legal formalities, the recovered mobile phones were handed over to their rightful owners, bringing relief and happiness to the affected citizens.

During the operation, 14 vials containing suspected he**in were recovered and seized.

Kayan Police Station successfully apprehended accused Sri Anit Bez (18) in connection with Kayan PS Case No. 05/2026.
The accused was involved in a burglary case where gold ornaments, bell metal utensils, and cash were stolen from a residence at Bordonga Batakuchi village.
During the operation, stolen bell metal utensils were recovered from his possession.
