We are delighted to share that Dr. Nayanjyoti Goswami, Managing Director of the Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation, was invited as a Resource Person for the Faculty Orientation Programme organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Royal Global University, on 30 March 2026.

We are pleased to welcome Sonit Sarma to Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation as Senior Executive – Accounts & MIS.

With nearly a decade of experience in finance and accounting, Sonit brings strong expertise in financial management, MIS reporting, and accounting tools. Prior to joining AISF, he served at the Assam Skill Development Mission, where he played a key role in managing accounts and financial operations.

His addition strengthens AISF’s commitment to building a robust, transparent, and efficient financial ecosystem to support the growing startup landscape of Assam.

We look forward to his contributions in driving operational excellence and enabling impactful growth for the ecosystem.

We were delighted to host students and faculty from the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology on 27 March 2026 at the Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation (AssamStartup).

The session turned into a vibrant exchange of ideas, with engaging discussions and hands-on activities that pushed students to think beyond the conventional and solve real-world problems .

We are pleased to welcome Kankan Jyoti Kharghoria to the Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation (AISF) team.

Mr Kankan is a distinguished startup ecosystem enabler and development professional with extensive experience in entrepreneurship promotion, sustainable livelihood initiatives, and social impact projects across India. He brings strong expertise in end-to-end project ex*****on, incubation portfolio management, community engagement, stakeholder partnerships, and public policy driven initiatives.

Previously associated with Ernst & Young (EY) on the Assam Startup initiative and with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, he has played a key role in strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems, managing large-scale programs, and delivering impactful ecosystem interventions.

In his role at AISF, he will contribute to advancing the foundation’s mission of strengthening Assam’s startup ecosystem through strategic program implementation, ecosystem partnerships, and initiatives that support innovators and entrepreneurs across the state.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Nayanjyoti Goswami as the Managing Director of Assam Innovation and Startup Foundation (AISF).

Dr. Goswami brings over two decades of global leadership experience in finance, operations, and strategic transformation, having worked with leading Fortune 500 institutions such as State Street, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Northern Trust. He has led large cross-functional teams across India, Europe, and Asia and managed complex financial operations, governance frameworks, and global capability centers.

A PhD in Strategic Management from IIM Shillong and an alumnus of IIM Calcutta, Dr. Goswami is also a published researcher focusing on corporate strategy, startup ecosystems, and business performance.

AISF, a Section 8 company under the Department of Innovation, Incubation and Startups (DIIS), Government of Assam, is committed to strengthening the state’s startup ecosystem. With Dr. Goswami’s leadership, AISF is poised to accelerate innovation, enable global collaborations, and build a future-ready platform for entrepreneurs and emerging startups in Assam.
