Some of the major lines include: (Ambala-Yamunanagar and Ambala-Kurukshetra line), Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh (including UNESCO World Heritage Kalka Shimla Railway), Uttar Pradesh (Ambala-Yamunanagar section of Ambala-Yamunanagar-Saharanpur-Delhi line), and Rajasthan (Patiala-Abhoar-Ganganagar line).
