Dhanteras marks the beginning of the fuve day Diwali celebrations throughout the country. On this day, we pray for good health and wealth for the family. Decorated clay idols of Shri Ganesh and Mata Lakshmi are bought from the market on this day. It brings home a lot of destiny and prosperity.
This festival plays a great role in the life of everyone as this auspicious occasion not only cleans up our body but also our mind and soul as well for a happy living.

‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ is observed to celebrate the success of ‘Operation Vijay’ which was fought for more than 60 days in the year 1999.
