AP SIPB clears projects worth Rs. 2,840.99Cr.

In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Service sector must show improved results. "There is a vast scope of development of MSMEs, hardware related services, village tourism etc. Food processing industry should be developed in a big way and we must achieve stable industrialization in Andhra Pradesh," he added.

Following are the details of some of the projects cleared by SIPB:

Walsin Electronic India Pvt Ltd plans to set up an electronics manufacturing unit in Tirupati with an investment of Rs. 734.47 Cr that will provide employment to 1,026 people.

GM Modular Pvt Ltd plants to set up an electronics manufacturing unit in Tirupati with an investment of Rs. 133.65 Cr that will provide employment to 2,230 people.

Tecchren Batteries Pvt Ltd plants to set up an electronics manufacturing unit in Sri City, Chittoor with an investment of Rs. 445.86 Cr that will provide employment to 200 people.

Veer O Metals Pvt Ltd plans to set up an electronics manufacturing unit in Gudipalle, Anantapur at a cost of Rs. 41.94 Cr that will provide employment to 240 people.

The Wingtech Mobile Communications (India) Pvt Ltd plans to set up an electronics manufacturing unit in Tirupati at a cost of Rs. 1,031.07 Cr that will provide employment opportunities to 10,098 people.

14 MoUs worth over Rs. 21,000 Cr exchanged

APEDB signed 14 Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) worth Rs. 21,000 Cr in the presence of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Jeong Deok-min, Honorary Consul General of India to the Republic of Korea, at the Secretariat today. These 14 MoUs will fructify into the investment potential of Rs. 21,000 Cr and generate 57,000 direct jobs and around 1,65,000 indirect jobs.

APEDB signed a MoU with Royal General Industries

Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board
APEDB signed a MoU with Royal General Industries on 16th July 2018, to facilitate a manufacturing plant for Putty, UPVC doors & metal screws in Nellore and a Gypsum board manufacturing unit in Srikakulum worth total investment of INR142 crores. These manufacturing units would generate ~480 jobs.
