Am i supposed to share my experiences on the quality Education? Is it ? okay then here it goes...
Well, Our education pedagogy is itself adopted from the European modern Education ideology and it is in the form since 1835, however we managed it and took in the right way with at our best level of addoption, But it took place only at some highly reputed or well designed institutions , not in mejority specially in Rural Areas.. In that field it progressed slowly even in the mixture of Orient and Anglo patterns. Our Guru / Bahan Ji Pratha slowly turned towards the 'Sir'/ Madam so-called revolutionary wishing calls, which is absolutely fine but it indicates that the system is not addopted completely due to lack of best implementaions of teachers training material provided by the equalent degrees, hence the mejority of children has the uncommon learning levels which demands the improvement in the quality of Education. Tens of guidelines talk about the quality and basic Education and also asks for the responsibility Educators towards the child.
In RTE, it is clearly stated that every educator has to initiate the best learning methods for each child and work acoording to the child's level... In case if a child is not learning and not getting good marks then evalution has to happen by the educator and remedial has to take place. All this mean that no child can fail in any case if we educators ensure the quality in our class rooms.
This new generation need to be taught in creative manner.. Even having the fact of revised syllabus or lack of resources...
I mean Shanti Niketan was not developed with any manufactured resource , Mentosory never clame for the artificial things and so on the NCF 2005 form was developed with keeping all the situation in mind ... Just have a small look at the RTE act 2009, it is very simple and possible thing but failing because the community of Education department does not want to work according to the child's requirments , they always put their own regular and common methodology in the class room.
Recap / revise the pre knowledge and build further is missing ... Rural Education system is totally in commercial mood. Even Some finance focused Urban schools and package demanding educators are on the same page. Less Educators work hard but most talk about the weaknesses of children.
I genuinely believe in child centeristy as like many of us do and hence recommond and support the RTE and argue to not fail a child untill or unless we have not ensured the required quality Education methods,tools, teachers enablement. I means why we can't promote a system where teacher is going to fail if his/ her children are not performing well. Why a child always gets detain in his /her semester, let's bedat it for them and revise the mindsets!! :)
An educator can't take children granted for their slow learnings always. not getting good marks is a shared thing at both sides, child can't be responsible for low marks always.
My debat will always be on the methods of content implementation not on the well documented texts books ... Wo to sahi salike se publish kar di g*i hai par unka class room men diliver karne ka saleeka humesha swalon se gujarna hi chhahiye:)
