Today inaugurated the new advance cardiac life saving Ambulance at the hands of renowned internal medicine and medical Physician Dr. Carmen Varela.
This ambulance has been procured under South Goa Member of Parliament Local Area Development Fund and will be stationed at Chicalim hospital.
Also present for the function were GPCC President Shri. Amit Patkar, Chicalim Panchayat Panch members Shri. Francisco Nunes & Shri. Roman Vaz, Hospital Doctors & staff, GPCC office bearers, locals and well wishers.

Today inaugurated the new Advance Cardiac life saving ambulance at the hands of renowned Cardiologist Dr. Francisco Colaco.
This ambulance has been procured under South Goa Member of Parliament Local Area Development Fund and will be stationed at South Goa District hospital, Margao.
Also present for the function were Quepem MLA Shri. Altone D' Costa, GPCC President Shri. Amit Patkar, GPCC Senior Vice President Shri. M.K.Shaikh, District Hospital Doctors & staff,

GPCC President Amit Patkar alongwith South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes strongly criticised PM Narendra Modi’s appeal asking citizens to cut spending on gold, petrol, and foreign travel, calling it “roadside chai politics” that reflects the Centre’s failure to manage the economy responsibly.

He pointed out the hypocrisy of BJP leaders continuing extravagant roadshows while advising the public to save fuel. Patkar also accused the Central Government of weak economic policies and excessive spending on events and publicity at a time when the country is facing serious economic challenges.

Demanding accountability, Amit Patkar urged the Centre to convene a special session of Parliament to discuss the growing economic crisis and its impact on common citizens.
