The DWSM meeting held on 18th Sept'2025 under the Chairmanship of DC, West Siang District. Discussed in length on the JJM and SBM programme. DC advised early demarcation of drinking water sources catchment Areas involving village authorities.Earlier EE (PHED) cm Member Secy , DWSM through PPT have presented the over view of the JJM phase-I programme from 2019 to 2025.
Other key points discussed in the meeting :
- Creating awareness on the importance of catchment area protection and the role of DWSM
- SCHEME Proposals under JJM 2.0
-Updation of information in JJM dashboard from the DWSM and eGramSwaraj portal.
- Progress on PM Gati Shakti
- Progress on ODF Plus under SBM(G)
- School and AWC data validations.

"Har Ghar Tiranga-Har Ghar Swachhata" a weeklong campaign from 8th Aug and culminating on 15th August 2025 has been launched today at PHE & WS Division Aalo by the Er. Pojom Padu, EE. Launching of the campaign has also been carried out at Tapiyor village by the PHE Sub Division led by Er Durik Kato, AE. In this weeklong campaign the cleanliness drive at village areas and Water Treatment Plant would be carried out by the VWSC/Villagers.
