UP board

UP board UP board is a secondary and senior secondary board of Uttar pradesh it is a Hindi medium board It conducted its first examination in 1923.

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination. The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.

U. P. Board Intermediate (Class XII) Examination Results - 2014

UP Class 12 Intermediate Results have been declared on the official website. UP Intermediate results 2014 for the Class 12 students were declared within the first 85 days from the last date of examination. The exams were held in the month of March. On an official press conference, it was earlier announced that Results were going to be declared on 25th of May at 12.30 noon. Let us see what has been the performance of boys and girls this year.
More than 31 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 or intermediate examination conducted by UP board of Secondary Education this year. Compared to the last year’s performance, the number of students have increased by more than 5 percent. Last year, 26 lakh students appeared for the UP board Class Xii exam and 92 percent students passed the examination successfully. There has been a slight increase in the overall passing percentage. Girls have out performed boys with passing percentage of over 95 percent. However the passing percentage of boys is below 90 percent
