Cyber Safety Awareness: Strengthening Community Awareness Against Cyber Crime

With the aim of promoting cyber safety and raising awareness about emerging cyber threats, Falakata Police Station organised a Cyber Crime Awareness and Cyber Security Programme at Uttar Banga Khudro Part Supari Babsahi Samiti Hall, Falakata.

Around 80 participants, including members of the business association, local businesspersons and other community members, attended the programme in the presence of the IC, Falakata, other police officers and the Durga Vahini team.

The Cyber Team of Falakata PS interacted with participants, addressed their queries and grievances, and extended necessary guidance and support to individuals affected by cybercrime. Certificates were also distributed to the participants in recognition of their participation.

সাইবার নিরাপত্তা সম্পর্কে জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি এবং ক্রমবর্ধমান সাইবার অপরাধের বিরুদ্ধে সতর্কতা গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্যে ফালাকাটা থানার উদ্যোগে উত্তরবঙ্গ ক্ষুদ্র পার্ট সুপারি ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির হলে একটি সাইবার অপরাধ সচেতনতা ও সাইবার নিরাপত্তা বিষয়ক কর্মসূচি আয়োজন করা হয়।

এই কর্মসূচিতে ব্যবসায়ী সমিতির সদস্য, স্থানীয় ব্যবসায়ী এবং অন্যান্য সম্প্রদায়ের প্রতিনিধিসহ প্রায় ৮০ জন অংশগ্রহণ করেন। অনুষ্ঠানে ফালাকাটা থানার আইসি, অন্যান্য পুলিশ আধিকারিক এবং দুর্গা বাহিনীর সদস্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

Crackdown on Illegal Liquor: 64 Litres of Illicit Liquor Seized in Hasimara

Acting on specific source information, Hasimara Outpost police detained a TOTO at Kalibari More and recovered 64 litres of illicit country liquor (cholai) during a search.

The TOTO driver was apprehended, and the illicit liquor along with the vehicle was seized. Legal proceedings have been initiated as per law.

অবৈধ মদের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযান: হাসিমারায় ৬৪ লিটার চোলাই মদ উদ্ধার

গোপন সূত্রে প্রাপ্ত তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে হাসিমারা ফাঁড়ির পুলিশ কালীবাড়ি মোড়ে একটি টোটো আটক করে। তল্লাশির সময় ওই টোটো থেকে ৬৪ লিটার অবৈধ চোলাই মদ উদ্ধার করা হয়।

টোটো চালককে আটক করা হয়েছে এবং অবৈধ মদসহ টোটোটি বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে। আইন অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজনীয় আইনি পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।

Crackdown on Illegal Manufacture of Illicit Liquor

On 30.09.2026 at around 20:30 hrs, acting on credible source information, Falakata PS conducted a raid at Harinathpur area under Deogaon GP against the illegal manufacture of illicit liquor. The raid was conducted with the active participation of the Durga Vahini team of Falakata PS.

During the operation, 8–9 handis containing fermented rice mash, along with equipment used for the preparation of Hariya, were destroyed on the spot.

৩০.০৯.২০২৬ তারিখে প্রায় ২০:৩০ ঘটিকায় গোপন সূত্রে প্রাপ্ত নির্ভরযোগ্য তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে ফালাকাটা থানার উদ্যোগে দেওগাঁও গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের অন্তর্গত হরিনাথপুর এলাকায় অবৈধ চোলাই মদ তৈরির বিরুদ্ধে অভিযান চালানো হয়। অভিযানে ফালাকাটা থানার দুর্গা বাহিনী দলের সদস্যরাও সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করেন।

অভিযান চলাকালীন ৮–৯টি হাঁড়িতে থাকা গাঁজানো চালের মণ্ড এবং হাড়িয়া তৈরির কাজে ব্যবহৃত সরঞ্জাম ঘটনাস্থলেই নষ্ট করে দেওয়া হয়।

Interception of Buffaloes Being Transported Without Valid Documents

Acting on source information, Alipurduar District Police intercepted a container on NH-31C near Raidhak Bridge Naka and found 50 buffaloes being transported without valid supporting documents.

The vehicle and the buffaloes were seized, and the driver and co-driver were arrested. A specific case is being initiated under the appropriate provisions of law.

গোপন সূত্রে প্রাপ্ত তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে NH-31C-এর রায়ডাক ব্রিজ নাকা এলাকায় একটি কন্টেনার আটক করা হয়। তল্লাশিতে কন্টেনারটিতে বৈধ নথিপত্র ছাড়াই ৫০টি মহিষ পরিবহণ করা হচ্ছিল বলে জানা যায়।

কন্টেনার ও মহিষগুলি জব্দ করা হয়েছে এবং চালক ও সহ-চালককে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। আইনের উপযুক্ত ধারায় নির্দিষ্ট মামলা রুজুর প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়েছে।

Coordination Meeting for Safe & Peaceful Durga Puja

A coordination meeting was held under the leadership of the SP, Alipurduar and DM, Alipurduar to ensure a safe, peaceful and smooth Durga Puja celebration across the district.

All OCs and ICs, BDOs and members of various Puja Committees attended the meeting. Key aspects of security, crowd management, traffic regulation, emergency preparedness and coordination with Puja Committees were discussed.

Illegal Riverbed Material Transport Foiled

Acting on duty, police intercepted an unregistered tractor with trolley loaded with riverbed materials near Dangi Chowpathy under Samuktala PS on 29.09.2026. The driver fled from the spot on seeing the police party.

The tractor and loaded materials were seized following due legal formalities, and a specific case was registered at Samuktala PS for suspected illegal extraction and transportation without valid permission and payment of Government royalty.

Raid Against Illicit Liquor

On 29.09.2026, acting on a tip-off, Alipurduar District Police conducted a raid at Subashini area and seized and destroyed approximately 700 kg of fermented rice, used in the preparation of illicit liquor.

আবগারি আইন লঙ্ঘনের বিরুদ্ধে অভিযানে, ২৯.০৯.২০২৬ তারিখে গোপন সূত্রে প্রাপ্ত তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে সুভাষিণী এলাকায় অভিযান চালানো হয়। অভিযানে অবৈধ মদ তৈরিতে ব্যবহৃত প্রায় ৭০০ কেজি গাঁজানো চাল উদ্ধার করে ধ্বংস করা হয়।

Illegal Stone Transportation Detected

During routine checking at Kadamtala under Bhatibari OP, Alipurduar District Police intercepted a dumper loaded with stones. The driver failed to produce valid documents or royalty papers in support of the consignment.

The vehicle was seized and the driver was arrested. Necessary legal action has been initiated.

ভাটিবাড়ি ও.পি.-র অন্তর্গত কদমতলা এলাকায় রুটিন চেকিংয়ের সময় আলিপুরদুয়ার জেলা পুলিশের পক্ষ থেকে পাথর বোঝাই একটি ডাম্পার আটক করা হয়। গাড়ির চালক পাথর পরিবহণের বৈধ নথিপত্র বা রয়্যালটি সংক্রান্ত কোনও বৈধ কাগজপত্র দেখাতে পারেননি।

গাড়িটি আটক করা হয়েছে এবং চালককে গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে। প্রয়োজনীয় আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।
