UCD Department, AMC, Ahmedabad U.C.D (Urban Community Development) Department runs different activities related to Public Health, Education, Employment and Public awareness.

UCD department of AMC runs different activities related to Public Health, Education, Employment and Public awareness for the upliftment of the Urban Poor & BPL families. In collaboration with different Government Sponsored NGOs (Non-Government Organizations), U.C.D Department also conducts different vocational training classes for the urban poor by charging a nominal fee. U.C.D Department is the

implementing agency of the Government Welfare Schemes for the upliftment of the Urban Community. National Urban Livelihood Mission-NULM is one of them.
