- of Mid-Term Review & 6th Implementation Support Mission ( ) of TRESP.

The wrap-up meeting of the Mid-Term Review ( ) and 6th Implementation Support Mission (ISM) of the Tripura Rural Economic Growth & Service Delivery Project ( ) was held on 5th June 2026 at the New Capital Complex Secretariat, Agartala, under the chairmanship of the Secretary, Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.

The meeting was attended by the , officials of the Tribal Welfare Department, representatives from the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), and other project functionaries. Discussions focused on the overall progress of project implementation, key achievements, challenges encountered, lessons learned, and strategic measures to further strengthen project outcomes during the remaining implementation period.

The session served as an important platform for reviewing project performance, sharing insights from the field, and reaffirming the collective commitment of all stakeholders towards achieving the development objectives of TRESP and improving sustainable livelihood opportunities for tribal communities across Tripura.

πŸŒ±πŸ“‹ BDP Preparation Activities at South Karbook VC under TRESP ✨

Data collection, crop selection, and progressive farmer selection activities were carried out with the members of Sukoon Agri PG at South Karbook VC for the preparation of the Business Development Plan (BDP) under TRESP, BPMU Karbook.

The exercise focused on identifying suitable crops, assessing local potential, and selecting progressive farmers to ensure effective planning and implementation of agricultural interventions under the project.

🌿 The activity will help in developing a comprehensive BDP aimed at enhancing productivity, sustainability, and livelihood opportunities for PG members.

for Monitoring Piggery Producer Group Activities.

The DPM-TRESP West Tripura team along with the Block Team conducted a field visit to PG under Kairai VC and PG under Khurumpui VC, Mandwi RD Block, to monitor the ongoing activities of the Piggery Producer Groups ( ) being implemented under the Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project ( ).

During the visit, the team reviewed the progress of piggery activities, interacted with PG members, assessed management practices, and provided necessary guidance to strengthen livelihood interventions and ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
