Paying heartfelt tribute to my grandfather, Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya, a visionary whose dream was a prosperous, peaceful, and developed Tripura.

Though he left us at a very young age, his ideas, vision, and deep love for our people continue to inspire me every single day. I firmly believe that together, we will one day fulfil his dream and build a Tripura he envisioned for future generations.

My mother just handed me these letters from the late CM Nripen Chakraborty where there is a correspondence between them about the welfare and protection for the people of Tripura. There was a time when political parties maintained decorum and respect . Alas today we have all put party above our peoples interest

Congratulation to BJP in their stupendous victory in West Bengal ! The effort by PM Modi , Amit Shah and incharge Biplab Deb has resulted in the Trinamool rout . The left has also lost in Kerala which means no communist Sarkaar any state in india after 6 decades . In Tamil we have Joseph Vijay routing the Dravidian parties and in our own Assam Himanta biswa sarma anti Bangladeshi position have reaped rich rewards .

Tripura Gramin Bank Chairman Satyendra Singh on May 2 said the lack of industrialisation in the state was the key reason behind Tripura’s low credit-deposit ratio (CDR), as limited industrial activity has constrained the demand for large-scale loans.
