Promoting Sustainability and Hygiene in Our Hostels ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

โ€‹Today, the District Administration of South Tripura successfully organized the District Level Prize Distribution Programme for the Clean Hostel & Green Hostel Campaign 2025-26.

The Department of Welfare for Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Castes was established in 24th October,1970 with the objective of providing more focused attention on the integrated socio-econ-omic development of the most under-privileged sections of the Indian society namely, the Scheduled Tribes (STs) & Scheduled Castes (SCs), in a coordinated and planned manner. Subsequently it was bifurcated as Directorate of Welfare for Scheduled Tribes and Directorate of Welfare for Scheduled Castes in 1982.The Department of Tribal Welfare is the Nodal Department for the overall policy,planning and coordination of programmes for development of Scheduled Tribes.
