Our Story
Moly - מולי is based in Tzur Hadassah, a small village-like town in the Judaean Mountains, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, Israel. It was founded during the Corona crisis with the aim of providing me and my audience the chance to focus on something beautiful, creative and approachable, as the flower of Moly itself (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moly_(herb).
The woman behind Moly is Ilona Spector Shirtz, a proud wife and a mother of two, a former Linguist, Director of Development at various non-profits and a long-time lover of art and nature.
The concept behind Moly is preserving memories of important moments and special locations and periods in your life. Even when you’re quarantined, you can still hang these flower pieces on your wall and enjoy an escape to the nature outdoors.
