The Embassy of Romania promotes and protects the interests of the Romanian state and its citizens, in accordance with international law, Romanian and Israeli law. The Embassy promotes the dialogue between Romanian and Israeli institutions in all areas of cooperation thatcontribute to the content of relations between Romania and the State of Israel. We seek to strengthen our European values, to further development and deepen the excellent relations that exist between Romania and the State of Israel, and to contribute to ideas and expertise in formulating the agenda of cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, academic, and scientific fields. The sole purpose of these objectives are to raise the European profile of Romania, its potential for economic development, the rich and prestigious Romanian cultural heritage, and intellectual resources and talents of many Romanians. The Embassy actively seeks to maintain and develop relations between the citizens of Romania and the Romanian state. We seek to uphold and maintain the relationship with the Romanian-born Israelis and their country of origin so that we may create a sense of belonging for future generations. The Embassy’s activities are conducted amid particularly dynamic bilateral relations between the two countries that share the fundamental human values of democracy, rule of law, freedom and prosperity, peace, human rights and international cooperation, which are expressed by a common vision towards topics of global concern. În virtutea acestor funcţii, ambasada promovează şi protejează interesele statului român şi ale cetăţenilor români, în conformitate cu dreptul internaţional, legislaţia română şi israeliană. Ambasada asigură dialogul dintre instituţiile române şi israeliene în toate domeniile de cooperare care formează conţinutul relaţiilor dintre România şi Statul Israel. Echipa Ambasadei este dedicată promovării relaţiilor speciale de prietenie dintre România şi Israel, a valorilor noastre europene, a dezvoltării şi aprofundării în continuare a relaţiilor excelente care există între România şi Statul Israel, contribuind cu idei şi expertiză la formularea agendei de cooperare în plan politic, economic, cultural, academic şi ştiinţific, într-o manieră care să pună în valoare profilul european al României, potenţialul său de dezvoltare economică, bogatul şi prestigiosul patrimoniu cultural românesc şi multiplele resurse intelectuale şi de talent ale românilor. Ambasada se preocupă activ de menţinerea şi dezvoltarea legăturilor între comunitatea originarilor din România şi statul român. Acordăm toată atenţia menţinerii legăturii evreilor din România cu ţara lor de origine, precum şi transferării sentimentului de apartenenţă şi generaţiilor următoare. Activitatea ambasadei se desfăşoară pe fondul unei relaţii bilaterale deosebit de active, între două state care împărtăşesc valorile umane fundamentale ale democraţiei, statului de drept, libertăţii şi prosperităţii, promovează pacea, drepturile omului şi cooperarea internaţională şi sunt animate de o viziune comună asupra subiectelor de interes global.
