CFTIC under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is responsible for developing and promoting bilateral and multilateral trade and cooperation with governments, international organizations and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector. The Center for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation (CFTIC) at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is a partner in encouraging

local production and food security in Israel. It promotes trade policy for ensuring the availability, quality and variety of fresh food throughout the year at fair prices to residents of Israel, leveraging and promoting agricultural exports through cooperation, and exposing the relative advantage of Israeli agriculture in the international arena. Guided by the goals of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, we’re on a mission to promote food security and eliminate food waste by building on Israel’s expertise and leadership in agricultural innovation, as well as by developing and conducting training and capacity-building activities in collaboration with state-level officials and practitioners, as well as with non-governmental organizations. Our aim is to formulate joint activities carried out in situ and/or in Israel, including professional training and capacity building visits in Israel and the R&D International Agricultural Training Program in cooperation with the Agricultural Research Organization Volcani Center
