"לא האמנתי שזה אמיתי, חשבתי שזו מתיחה!"
זו היתה התגובה הראשונית של חלק ממשתתפי הכשרת הסייבר הישראלים, כאשר הם פגשו לראשונה את המודעה המזמינה להגיש מועמדות ללימודי סייבר בינלאומיים במימון מלא של המדינה.
היום יותר מחצי שנה לאחר יריית הפתיחה - לאור ההיענות הגבוהה, רמת המחויבות של המשתתפים, החיבורים שנוצרו בין צעירים משלוש המדינות, התוכן המקצועי העשיר והמשובים הנלהבים שהתקבלו לאורך הדרך – כולם מעידים על הצלחה יוצאת הדופן של התוכנית ועל הפוטנציאל העצום הטמון בשיתוף פעולה אזורי המבוסס על ידע, חדשנות וקשרים אנושיים.
מה שהחל בנובמבר 2025 כמפגשי לימוד מקוונים בין צעירים מהפריפריה בישראל, יוון וקפריסין, הפך בתוך חודשים ספורים לקהילה אזורית תוססת של דור העתיד בתחום הסייבר.
התוכנית מובלת על ידי המשרד לשיתוף פעולה אזורי ומשרד העבודה ו"היוזמה" לקידום תעסוקת צעירים, בתמיכת מערך הסייבר הלאומי, ובשיתוף National Cybersecurity Authority מיוון ו-Digital Security Authority מקפריסין. במסגרת התוכנית עברו המשתתפים הכשרה מקצועית מקיפה בתחום הסייבר, שהועברה באופן מקוון על ידי חברת CyberProAI Israel. ההכשרות הפיזיות שהתקיימו בקפריסין וביוון הועברו על ידי מומחי סייבר מהמדינות השותפות, והעניקו למשתתפים הזדמנות ללמוד מקרוב מאנשי מקצוע מובילים בתחום.
לצד ההכשרה המקצועית, השתתפו הצעירים בסדנאות לפיתוח מיומנויות רכות שהתמקדו במנהיגות, עבודת צוות, תקשורת בין-תרבותית, חשיבה יצירתית, הצגה בפני קהל ושיתוף פעולה בסביבה בינלאומית.
לאורך הדרך התקיימו שני מפגשים פיזיים משמעותיים – הראשון בקפריסין והשני ביוון – אשר חיברו בין המשתתפים מעבר למסך והפכו את הלמידה לחוויה מקצועית, חברתית ובינלאומית יוצאת דופן. במהלך ארבעת הימים ביוון נהנו המשתתפים מהרצאות מומחים, סדנאות, פעילויות משותפות, סיורים מקצועיים, בילויים ומפגשים בלתי אמצעיים שחיזקו את הקשרים שנרקמו לאורך חודשי הלימוד.
אחד משיאי הביקור היה המפגש בבית שגריר ישראל ביוון, מר נועם כץ, אשר העניק למשתתפים הזדמנות להיחשף מקרוב לעשייה הדיפלומטית והאזורית המחברת בין המדינות, ולשוחח על חשיבותם של שיתופי פעולה בתחומי החדשנות, הטכנולוגיה והסייבר.
מעבר לידע המקצועי שנרכש, התוכנית הוכיחה פעם נוספת כי כאשר משקיעים בצעירים, מחברים בין תרבויות ומייצרים הזדמנויות אמיתיות לשיתוף פעולה – נוצרים קשרים שיכולים להשפיע הרבה מעבר לגבולות התוכנית עצמה.
תודה לכל השותפים, המרצים, המומחים והצוותים המקצועיים שליוו את הדרך, ובעיקר לצעירות ולצעירים המדהימים שהגיעו עם סקרנות, נחישות, פתיחות ורצון ללמוד, להכיר ולהצליח.
זו לא הייתה רק תוכנית הכשרה בסייבר. זו הייתה השקעה בדור הבא של מובילי החדשנות, הטכנולוגיה ושיתופי הפעולה האזוריים.
ואחרי כל זה יש הרגשה שהמסע הזה רק התחיל....

“I couldn’t believe it was real – I thought it was a prank!”
That was the initial reaction of some of the Israeli participants in the Cyber Training Program when they first came across the announcement inviting them to apply for a fully funded international cybersecurity program.
Today, more than six months after the program was launched, the high level of engagement, the participants’ commitment, the connections formed between young people from three countries, the rich professional content, and the enthusiastic feedback received throughout the journey all point to the program’s exceptional success and to the tremendous potential of regional cooperation built on knowledge, innovation, and human connections.
What began in November 2025 as online learning sessions bringing together young people from peripheral regions in Israel, Greece, and Cyprus has, within a few short months, evolved into a vibrant regional community of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
The program is led by the Ministry of Regional Cooperation and the Ministry of Labor, with the support of the Israel National Cyber Directorate, in partnership with the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece and the Digital Security Authority of Cyprus. As part of the program, participants completed a comprehensive cybersecurity training course delivered online by CyberProAI Israel. The in-person training sessions held in Cyprus and Greece were led by cybersecurity experts from the partner countries, providing participants with the opportunity to learn directly from leading professionals in the field.
Alongside the professional cybersecurity training, participants took part in soft-skills workshops that focused on leadership, teamwork, cross-cultural communication, creative thinking, public speaking, and collaboration in an international environment.
Throughout the program, two major in-person gatherings took place—one in Cyprus and the second in Greece. These meetings allowed participants to connect beyond the screen and transformed the learning experience into a unique professional, social, and international journey. During the four-day seminar in Greece, participants attended expert lectures, workshops, joint activities, professional site visits, social events, and informal gatherings that strengthened the relationships built throughout the months of learning.
One of the highlights of the visit was a meeting at the residence of Israel’s Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Noam Katz, which gave participants the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the diplomatic and regional efforts connecting the participating countries and to discuss the importance of cooperation in the fields of innovation, technology, and cybersecurity.
Beyond the professional knowledge acquired, the program once again demonstrated that when young people are empowered, cultures are brought together, and meaningful opportunities for collaboration are created, lasting connections emerge—connections that can have an impact far beyond the boundaries of the program itself.
Our sincere thanks go to all the partners, lecturers, experts, and professional teams who accompanied this journey, and especially to the remarkable young participants who brought with them curiosity, determination, openness, and a genuine desire to learn, connect, and succeed.
This was not just a cybersecurity training program. It was an investment in the next generation of leaders in innovation, technology, and regional cooperation.
And after all of this, there is a feeling that this journey has only just begun... 🚀
