- the world's largest medical equipment exhibition, opened today. Tens of thousands are expected to attend.

As in previous years, the National Pavilion was organized by the Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy together with מכון היצוא - Israel Export Institute.

In the pavilion, the most innovative technologies in medical devices, digital health, healthcare, and other fields are presented by 40 amazing Israeli companies.

Representatives of the FTA headquarters together with a team of economic attachés and trade officers from Colombia, Brazil, Italy, Munich, Berlin, Kenya, d. Korea, New Delhi, Taiwan, Singapore, Denmark, and Spain, are on hand to assist with hundreds of business meetings organized between Israeli companies and representatives of business companies, organizations, and government delegations.

Strengthening Turkey-Israel economic-commercial cooperation!

For the first time since 2009, the Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry is visiting Turkey to promote the re-convening of the joint economic committee.

Following the announcement of the re-opening of the Economic office in Istanbul and the appointment of Matan Safran as Economic Attaché to the Ministry of Economy and Industry in Turkey, the Minister of Economy and Industry, Orna Barbivay,
During her professional visit to Ankara this week, she will hold a series of meetings to strengthen bilateral economic and trade ties.

As the demand for clean fuel surges globally and decarbonization efforts rapidly increase, the emergence of hydrogen as a clean energy option has been welcomed by many countries.

Hydrogen is expected to play a vital role in the coming years as economies and industries transition to a low-carbon world to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Globally, the size of the hydrogen industry is expected to hit $183 billion by 2023, up from $129bn in 2017, according to Fitch Solutions which estimates that investment in hydrogen will exceed $300bn by 2030.

The free trade agreement between Israel and South Korea is approved!

The Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy and Industry updates that the agreement, valid from December 1st, will improve the competitiveness of Israeli companies in the Korean market.

Ohad Cohen, director of the Foreign Trade Administration, noted that South Korea is one of the world's leading economies and an important trade partner for the State of Israel. "I am pleased with the successful conclusion of the process with an important market for the Israeli economy."

We are pleased to announce the opening of negotiations for a free trade agreement with the Kingdom of Bahrain! 🤝📣🤝

The Israeli Minister of Economy and Industry and the Bahrain Minister of Industry and Trade launched last Monday negotiations for the establishment of a free trade agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel.

The minister's current visit to Bahrain was coordinated and organized by the Israeli negotiation team of the Foreign Trade Administration at the Ministry of Economy together with the Israeli Embassy in Manama, Bahrain.

Ohad Cohen, director of the Foreign Trade Administration and head of the Israeli negotiation team: "Since the establishment of the Abraham Accords, the volume of trade between all the countries of the region and Israel is constantly growing. We hope that a free trade agreement with the Kingdom of Bahrain, with its diversified economy, will add a new dimension to these relations"
