All the children made an Autumn tree for this week’s craft activity.
They used cotton buds to make all the leaves.. this activity is excellent for strengthen fine motor skills and a lot of fun 🍁🍂

Today the children made their own nachos as part of the Bia Blasta initiative. They cut up their own tortilla wraps into shapes and enjoyed them for snack time. This was following our pancake day last week where the children whipped up their own pancakes 🥞. We have been learning all about making our own food and where that food comes from. We have also introduced a compost bin that the children take turns in putting waste in after snack time. This has been a great learning experience and so much fun! 🤩 Department of Children, Disability and Equality

Today the children made some shapes using tortilla wraps. They used shape cutters, scissors and pastry cutters to make various shapes. Afterwards they were popped into the oven and baked for snack time 🥰

All the children made a traffic light for today’s craft to support National Beep Beep Day this Friday!

They are learning all about traffic lights and Road safety this week at Little Monkeys Play school. 🚗 🚙

This morning we spoke all about autumn and how the seasons are changing. We spoke about the leaves on the trees and how they are beginning to change colour. We learnt a new autumn song - ‘Autumn leaves are falling down’. Our tuff tray today was paint stamping and the children used all of the autumn colours to stamp leaves onto the tinfoil. 🍂🍁🌿

Today all the children made an Autumn leaf for their craft/sensory activity.

Today we got messy with paint 🎨 the children used apples to paint the letter ‘A’. After, they painted on the side of cling film and painted some beautiful pictures 🥰⭐️

Today all the children decorated their beautiful homes. They painted the outside and we will put their family photo inside.
