October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month.
Each year on 15th October, there is a global wave of Light, where people across the World Gather at 7pm. Candles, monuments, landmarks, and buildings are lit in the colours pink and blue to mark Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month on Remembrance Day.
Wicklow County Council is once again participating in Féileacáin (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland), which is the National Charity supporting families affected by miscarriage, perinatal loss, stillbirth and neonatal death.
Keep an eye out for some of County Wicklow's landmark buildings that will change colour, such as 19 Arches Bridge, Arklow.
