🌿🍂 Wandering Wild at Tipperary Town Library 🍂🌿

What a beautiful and meaningful morning we had in the Library today with local author Laura Kennedy and her wonderful Wandering Wild session. 🌳✨

Laura brought the natural world right into the Library, with an amazing collection of foraged treasures — different sticks from different trees, leaves, flowers, plants, conkers and all sorts of wonderful pieces of nature. 🌿🍁🌸

But this wasn’t just about nature… it was about memories, childhood and the simple moments that made us happiest. 💚

Laura encouraged everyone to close their eyes, think back to a time when they felt young, happy and free, and then use those memories as inspiration to create their very own journey stick.

As each person added their natural treasures to their stick, they shared stories and memories from their younger years — little moments that might otherwise have been forgotten, but which clearly still held so much meaning. ❤️

The finished journey sticks were absolutely beautiful, but even more special were the stories, laughter and memories behind them.

A huge thank you to Laura for bringing such a thoughtful, creative and wonderfully nostalgic morning to Tipperary Town Library. 🌳💚

Sometimes, all it takes is a walk in nature and a little time to wonder to remind us of the things that truly make us happy. 🍂✨

A massive thank you to the wonderful choir from Gaelscoil Bhríde, Dúrlas Éile for their fantastic performance this morning, helping us wrap up Positive Ageing Week in Thurles Library! 🎶

The students treated us to a wonderful mix of songs and instrumental performances that truly brightened our morning and brought smiles to everyone in attendance.

We would also like to extend our thanks to everyone who came along to support the students. Your warm enthusiasm and encouragement made for a lovely audience and helped create a very special atmosphere.

Thank you all for helping to make the event such a memorable way to conclude Positive Ageing Week in Thurles Library. 💙

What a fantastic afternoon for Positive Ageing Week at Roscrea Library yesterday! 🌸

A huge thank you to Roisín O'Connell, The Irish Flower Whisperer, who shared her expertise and helped participants create beautiful dried flower arrangements with lavender and other seasonal blooms. Everyone enjoyed a relaxing and creative session, and we loved seeing all the wonderful arrangements. ✨
